Product Introduction
Electrolytic copper foil for lithium batteries is a copper foil developed and produced by CIVEN METAL specifically for the lithium battery manufacturing industry. This electrolytic copper foil has the advantages of high purity, low impurities, good surface finish, flat surface, uniform tension, and easy coating. With higher purity and better hydrophilic, the electrolytic copper foil for batteries can effectively increase the charge and discharge times and extend the cycle life of batteries. At the same time, CIVEN METAL can slit according to customer’s requirements to meet customer’s material needs for different battery products.
Specifications
CIVEN can provide double-sided optical lithium copper foil in different widths from 4.5 to 20µm nominal thickness.
Performance
The products have the characteristics of symmetrical double-sided structure, metal density close to the theoretical density of copper, very low surface profile, high elongation and tensile strength (see Table 1).
Applications
It can be used as anode carrier and collector for lithium-ion batteries.
Advantages
Compared with single-sided gross and double-sided gross lithium copper foil, its contact area increases exponentially when it is bonded with the negative electrode material, which can significantly reduce the contact resistance between the negative electrode collector and the negative electrode material and improve the symmetry of the negative electrode sheet structure of lithium-ion batteries. Meanwhile, the double-sided light lithium copper foil has good resistance to cold and heat expansion, and the negative electrode sheet is not easy to break during the charging and discharging process of the battery, which can prolong the service life of the battery.
